Ok. So back in my country (UK) we don’t use stumble cleaners that much- our summers are warm and our winters aren’t that cold.
But in korea, we face several problems- fine dust, pollution, humid summers, monsoon season, freezing winters and yellow dust season.
There’s so many days throughout the year where I cannot hang the clothes on the rooftop, yet the space I have in the house is limited to hang stuff. Not to mention during the monsoon season, the air is so humid both in and out the house; that my clothes took days to dry, which ended up with them smelling…
After having a baby and our usual washing load doubled, it was time to say goodbye to hanging clothes everyday in the house.
It was between this dryer or a more popular brand, but we figured that all dryers are kinda the same. Why fork out more money for specialised features that we never use?
This dryer came the next day and we immediately started using it and LIFE CHANGER!
To be able to wash our clothes/duvet/towels and then immediately be able to dry them has been life changing. I can’t exaggerate the time and effort it has saved me, so I can focus on other work/baby.
The usual course is 3 hours 50 minutes but depending on the load, the time will automatically reduce.
Sometimes if you overload it with clothes or different sizes, some clothes with thicker fabrics (winter socks or really heavy hoodies) might come out a little moist. But the internet said it’s better to under dry than over dry, so just hang them out overnight and they’ll dry while you sleep :) or you can put the moist clothes back in for another quick cycle.
After each use you need to empty the lint and the water tank (unless you’re using the pipe drainage method). Aside from that, the time and effort you save from using a dryer- especially when you have a child- is honestly amazing!
